Onnie Mae Howsen Evans, age 85, of Warren, AR. died Thursday January 27, at Bradley County Medical Center. Born February 25, 1925 at McArther, AR. a daughter of the late Grady Hamilton Howsen and Annie Horn Howsen Ashcraft she was a homemaker, member of Pleasant Valley Freewill Baptist Church and the widow of J.R. "Bo" Evans who died May 23, 1993. They were united in marriage November 3, 1945. Also, preceding her in death was a sister Zelma Burch Bailey. Survivors are 1 son Jimmy Ray Evans and spouse Mary, Warren, AR. 1 brother J.G. Howsen and spouse Mary, Warren, AR. 3 sisters Marjorie Adair, Lee Ila Dawkins and Shirley Lee all of Warren, AR. 3 grandchildren Lanellia Peek and spouse Ryan, Vickie Bradley and spouse Greg, Wendy Payne and spouse Randall all of Warren, AR. 7 great-grandchildren Roman Peek, Leslie Peek, Tarra Peek, Kasey Shores, Kayla Payne, Courtney Bradley and Maggie Bradley. Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Saturday January 29, at Pleasant Valley Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Russell Hensley officiating. Jamie Weaver was pianist and soloist were Tricia Wilkerson and Leslie Peek. Burial was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Glenn Adair, Joey Howsen, Frankie Broom, Robert Murphy, Bobby Weaver, Shannon Wilkerson and Gary Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Wayne Russell and Donnie Burch.
