When Agnes Clements was born on June 14, 1899, in Wooster, Arkansas, her father, Romaltus, was 46, and her mother, Margaret, was 42. She married Jesse Edward Williams on March 5, 1916, in her hometown. They had seven children in 13 years. She died on December 14, 1978, at the age of 79, and was buried in Greenbrier, Arkansas.
