JONESBORO - Thomas A. “Tom” Robert died on Saturday, June 08, 2019 at the age of 73.

He lived most of his life in Lawrence County, moving to Jonesboro in late 2010. He was a 1965 graduate of Egypt High School, and received BA, BSE and MSE degrees from Arkansas State University. He served in the US Army Signal Corps. He worked as a teacher, counselor and principal.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred H. and Eva I. Robert.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Kay Kirksey Robert, of the home, his son, Lynn Kai Robert and his wife Angela of Eureka Springs, AR and his son’s mother and first wife, Shu Kuan Eubanks of Friendswood, TX.

At his request, his remains were cremated and no services are planned. Tom enjoyed the beauty and grandeur of the national parks and the family requests that donations be made to the National Park Foundation in his honor. (
