SPRINGDALE — Sara Jane Acuff, 52, of Springdale passed away Monday, Dec. 18, 2017, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born Jan. 14, 1965, in Jonesboro, Ark., to Charles and Katherine Morgan Taylor.
Sara worked for Springdale Public Schools for many years. She was a member of the Valley Lighthouse Church and loved to sing gospel songs.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, William (Bill) Acuff of the home; one son, Joshua Acuff of Springdale; one daughter, Leona Acuff of Springdale; one brother, Charles Taylor of Springdale; one sister, Kathleen Bowen of Springdale; one niece, Miranda Bowen-Perkins; one stepson, William Acuff, Jr. and wife Kim of Gentry; five step-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, at noon at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Pastor Jerry Henshaw, Pastor James Howell and Pastor Loy Counts officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
