Mary Frances Lessley Teague, 83, of Alma died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, in a local hospital. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Alma, where she was organist for more than 35 years, a member of the Razorback Foundation, an avid Razorbacks fan, member of the Arkansas state Horticultural Society, part owner of Alma Farm Supply, a lifelong resident of Crawford County, a graduate of Mulberry High School, a former teacher in Kibler and Alma and a former piano teacher. She was the widow of Farris Coleman and Carl Deck Teague and also preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Minnie Lessley. She attended the University of the Ozarks, Arkansas Tech University and the University of Arkansas. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Ocker Funeral Home Chapel in Alma with burial at Alma City Cemetery. She is survived by two nieces, Zoe Barron of Wilmette, Ill., and Jan Teague Peck of Baton Rouge, La.; two nephews, Paul Teague of Jonesboro and Keith Teague of Stillwater, Ark.; numerous cousins including, Eddie Rue Byars of Alma, Clella Bea Oliver of Mulberry, Harold E. Lessley of Sherwood and Kathryn Polson of Connecticut and Gelene Price of California; caregiver, Flo Carmell; and a host of friends. Pallbearers will be Paul and Keith Teague, Boyce and Tom Wofford, David Woolly and Joe Lee Lewers. Honorary pallbearers will be David, John and Mark Partlow, Dr. Larry Price, Randy DeLaet, Randy Bradley, Dr. Mike Westbrook, Wolf Grulkey, Rick Carson and Vilus Peevy.
