Ben F Peevy, 75, 2104 E Polk, died at 11:45 a.m. Saturday, January 21, at St Joseph's Hospital. Mr. Peevy was born November 5, 1913, in Alma, Arkansas a son of George and Elizabeth Lamb Peevy. He attended Alma schools and married Lissie Rye on March 27, 1937. They lived in Alma until 1940 when they moved to Clinton, Oklahoma. They moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1976 and had lived in Paris, Texas since 1978. He was a member of the Nazarene Church. He was manager of a wholesale lumber company in Clinton for a number of years. Surviving are his wife; daughter and son-in-law, Lloyd and Martha Branum of Flower Mound, Texas; sisters, Lois Winn of Longview, Texas and Sybil Rye of Russellville, Arkansas; and brother, Odell Peevy of Yale, Oklahoma.

Lissie Lee Rye Peevy, age 93 and a resident of Lewisville, Texas. Born January 22, 1916 in Russellville, Arkansas to William Lee and Dee Ruth Kendrick Rye. Lissie was married to Ben Peevy on March 27, 1937 in Alma, Arkansas and he preceded her in death on January 21, 1989 in Paris, Texas. Lissie is survived by daughter; Martha Peevy Branum and her husband Lloyd of Flower Mound, Texas and grandson, Parth Dave and wife Meera of Wappinger Falls, New York and great -grandchildren, Alap and Purav Dave. She is also survived by osister, Naomi Coddington of Ft Smith, Arkansas and was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.Lissie was a member of Lantana Nazarene Church and a member of the Nazarene church in Elk City and Clinton, Oklahoma before moving to Lewisville. F
She was loved by her family and friends who will miss her dearly and in return she loved them. She leaves behind her friends at Evergreen of Lewisville, Church friends and many others here and across the country.
