Mardell Hibler Christello, 83, of Alma, Arkansas died Wednesday, March 9, 1994, at a local nursing home. SHe was a homemaker, member of Alma First United Methodist Church and charter member of the Alma PTA. She was the widow of Tony Christello. Survivors include daughters, Mardell Alice McClurkin of Conway, Arkansas and Rosemary Blasingame of Alma; brother Ellsworth Hibler of Granbury, Texas, and grandchildren, Alice Mcclurkin of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Angie Blasingame of Little Rock, Arkansas; Trey McClurkin of Memphis, Tennessee and Larry Blasingame and Francie Blasingame, both of Alma.
Pallbearers were Warren Blaylock, Jim Phelps, Jerry Dean, Cletus Adams, Robert Hood and George Beattie. Honorary pallbearers were Ed Thicksten, Charles Dyer, Zek Pratt, Sam Williams, Tommy James and Kenny James.
