John Leonard Nickles III, 39, of 20 Meadowbrook Drive, died Wednesday (March 10, 1982) at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, Tex., after suffering an apparent heart attack.
He was a truck driver for Virco Mfg. Corp. and a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Conway. He was a member of the National Guard.
Born October 16, 1942, at Mayflower, he was a son of John Leonard and Marcell Adams Nickles, Jr.
Survivors are a daughter, Miss Shellie Nickles of Greenbrier, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John L. Nickles, Jr., of Conway.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Church of the Nazarene with the Revs. Bob Lothenore and Kevin Wentworth officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery by McNutt Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Stanton, Marvin Iberg, Manuel Nickles, Jimmy Dale Johnson, Luke Caldwell, and Leroy Stephens.
