Vernia Epple, 100, of Muldrow, died September 2, 2012 in Roland.
She was born January 29, 1912 in Alma, AR to Walter B. and Beatrice Johnson Powell.
She service as seamstress for several dress shops over her lifetime and she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Muldrow.
She is survived by one daughter Melva Womple of Little Rock, AR; two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband William Epple; one sister, four brothers, and one grandchild.
Funeral service will be Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 1:00 PM in the First Baptist Church of Muldrow with burial to follow in the Alma City Cemetery in Alma, AR all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be John James, Pat O'Brien, Jim Powell, and Gary Condren
