March 31, 1888 - April 16, 1949
A. R. (Bert) Dukes, 61-year old blacksmith of Alma, Arkansas died early Saturday morning, April 16, 1949, at the family home. Mr. Dukes was born at Ozark, Arkansas March 31, 1888.
Survivors include the wife Pearl; a son; three daughters; four brothers; one sister; and three grandchildren.
Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Alma Cemetery with Rev. Charles Cunningham Baptist minister of Alma, officiating. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Ocker Funeral Home.
