US Marine Corps
April 3, 1950 - December 9, 2005
William "Bill" Bates, III, of Cedarville, Arkansas died Friday, December 9, 2005, in a local hospital. He was an electrician and had served in the United States Marine Corps. He is survived by his wife, LaRetta, daughter LaChrista Bates, son James Pipkins of Boyertown, Pennsylvania, his parents Virginia and William Bates, Jr of Fort Smith,Arkansas; brothers Danny Bates of Van Buren,Arkansas; Jimmy Bates of Fort Smith,Arkansas and grandchildren LaRissa Bates of Cedarville, Arkansas, and Greg and Jessica Pipkins, both of Boyertown, Pennsylvania.
