Jewel C Hanna, 90, of Alma, Arkansas died Sunday, January 15, 2006, in Alma. He was born April 5, 1915 in Alma. He was a retired employee of Desoto Furniture, a World War II Navy veteran and of the Assembly of God faith. He is survived by his wife, Verna Mae; daughters, Annabelle Christian of Alma, Reba Collins and Cheryl Prescott, both of Van Buren, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Kenneth, Quinton, Kendall and David Hanna, Wayne Beck and Doug Thrift.

Verna Mae Hanna, 87, of Alma, Arkansas died Saturday, March 11, 2006, in Alma. She was born September 18, 1918, in Mellette, Oklahoma. She was of the Assembly of God faith, the widow of Jewel Hanna and a former employee of Alma Canning Company and Bryant Preserving Company.
She is survived by daughters, Annabelle Christian of Alma, Arkansas and Reba Collins and Cheryl Prescott, both of Van Buren, Arkansas; seven grandchildren and five great-grand children.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Collins, Shawn Shankle, Dan Long, Kevin Clauson, Mark Hodges and Jeff Robertson.
