Mason Daniel "MD" was sixth of seven children born to Daniel Green McMillen and Delilah Casharago McMillen. Mason was born July 15, 1889 in Faulkner County, Arkansas. He married Maude Edna Taylor on November 11, 1906.
Mason was a farmer and he and Maude owned their home. Mason registered for the draft in 1917 and was described as being of slender build, medium height, with blue eyes and light hair.
Mason provided a home for his Mother Delilah until her passing in 1937. Mason passed away December 18, 1944 from a leaking in the heart, a condition he had for some time, which doctor's were unable to treat.
Mason and Maude had 8 children: Leon, Mildred, Milton, Ferrel, Geraldine, Mason "Sid", Mary "Kate", and Edward "Sug" (1930-).
