When Leon Doyle McMillen was born on February 19, 1908, in Arkansas, his father, Mason, was 19 and his mother, Maude, was 17. He had three brothers and four sisters. He died on August 14, 1936, at the age of 28, and was buried in Wooster, Arkansas.
