F E Shearer, MD, 83, of Alma, Arkansas died Thursday, June 29, 1995, in Van Buren, Arkansas. He was a retired physician, a member of the Alma Church of Christ, a life member of the Arkansas Medical Society, a member of Southern Medical Association, the American Medical Association and Van Buren Rotary Club. He was a pediatrician and obstetrician for Holt Krock Clinic and was in general practice for 16 years at Alma Clinic. He was a graduate of Western State Teachers College in Bowling Green, Kentucky and a graduate of the University of Louisville Medical School in Louisville, Kentucky. He is survived by his wife Hazel, sons, Edmund C Shearer, PhD of Hays, Kansas, James E Shearer, DVM of Paris, Arkansas and William L Shearer of Alma; sisters Pauline Cole of Glasgow, Kentucky and Sybil Wilson of Live Oak, Florida, brother James A Shearer of College Grove, Tennessee and seven grandchildren.
