May 4, 1907 - March 12, 1968
The funeral service for Floyd E Hudson, 60 years old of Route 1, Mountainburg, Arkansas, was held Friday at 1:30 pm in Edwards Funeral Home chapel with J M Rogers, pastor of Bethel Methodist Church of Alma, officiating. Burial was in Alma City Cemetery. He was dead on arrival at a local hospital Tuesday, March 12, 1968 after a sudden illness. He was born May 4, 1907 at Jenkins, Missouri, son of John Calvin and Virgie Bays Hudson. A machine operator at Ward Furniture factory, he had lived in Mountainburg, Arkansas for seven years. Survivors are his wife; a son, three brothers; five sisters, Leota, Lottie, Rudy, Jewel and Viola; and three grandchildren.

Mrs Wilma Jean Hudson, 49 years old of Mountainburg, Arkansas died Monday, April 22, 1968 at Alma, Arkansas. She was born April 18, 1919 at El Dorado, Kansas to David Victor and Ethel Edna Rizon Shreve. Her husband, Floyd E Hudson, Sr, died March 12, 1968 following a sudden illness.Survivors are a step-son, three sisters, and a niece.
