Helen Chambers Vickers Poole, age 75, of Warren, AR. died Wednesday April 12, at Leisure Lodge in Monticello, AR. Born July 7, 1930 in Eudora, AR. a daughter of the late William Bryan Chambers and Essie Tanner Chambers she was a retired beautician, member Immanuel Baptist Church, and the widow of Sherrell Vickers. Also, preceding her in death was a brother Woodrow Chambers, sisters Nannie Campbell and Mildred Huitt. Survivors are her husband James C. Poole of Warren, Ark. 3 sons Jerry M. Vickers and spouse Judy of Jacksonville, N.C., Jackie D. Vickers of Warren, AR. and Jeffery D. Vickers and spouse Paula of Peachtree City, GA. 1 daughter Jimmie Lanier and spouse Ronnie of Warren, AR. 1 sister Thelma Green of Warren, AR. 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Graveside services were 10:00 a.m. Saturday April 15, Hickory Springs Cemetery near Hermitage, AR. with Rev. Craig Jenkins officiating. Ricky Green was soloist. Arrangements by Frazers Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Wayne Huitt, Larry Huitt, Paul Huitt, Joe Huitt, Ricky Green and Danny Green. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. John Durmon, Wade Bryant, Neal Vickers, Shawn Vickers, Dr. Kerry Pennington, Karen Richardson and the Joy Sunday School Class of Immanuel Baptist Church.
