When Tim Edwin McKaskle was born on January 26, 1912, in Arkansas, his father, Marion, was 30 and his mother, Kellie, was 25. He married Floy Mae Mitchell on November 16, 1931. They had three children during their marriage. He died in August 1980 in Greenbrier, Arkansas, at the age of 68, and was buried there.
