The funeral service for Mrs. May Kuykendall, 80 years old, of Alma, Arkansas was held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Maple Shade Nazarene Church with J. E. Mitchell, the officiating minister. Burial, directed by Edwards Funeral Home, was in Alma City Cemetery.
Mrs. Kuykendall, who died Wednesday, February 28, 1968, was born on April 29, 1887 in Arkansas to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph McAlister and was a member of the Nazarene Church.
Survivors are a step-son, J. R. Kuykendall of Alma; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Eugene Thompson of Alma, Mrs. Bessie Hall of Van Buren and Mrs. Myrtle Roberts of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; three brothers, Lanious McAlister of Van Buren, R. W. McAlister of Fort Smith and Ernest McAlister of South Gate, California; two sisters, Mrs. Artie Durham of Norwalk, California and Mrs. Sallie Basham of Alma; and 13 grandchildren.
