Mildred Imogene Flanagan Lewis, 101, of Alma, passed away Monday, October 10, 2016. She was born July 26, 1915 in Dover, AR to the late John and Lena Murphy. She was a homemaker, and was preceded in death by her first and second husband, Roy "Bill" Flanagan and George Lewis, and a daughter, Nina Jean Pippin.
She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Alexander and husband Danny of Alma; four grandchildren, Tammie Patrick and husband Bert, Danny Pippin, Dwain Pippin and wife Pasha, and Sommer Alexander; seven great-grandchildren, Tiffany Taylor and husband Chris, Braden Pippin, Mayse Pippin, Spenser Pippin, Taylor Pippin and wife Mary Jane, Timothy Pippin, and Martha Pippin; and two great-great-grandchildren, Zoe and Dazi Taylor.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Alma with interment to follow at Alma Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
