June 22, 1951 - April 8, 2018
John Edgar Dukes, 66, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 in a local hospital. He was a retired truck driver for Logistics Warehouse, an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents James Dukes and Martha Lee Farrow Dukes; and brother Jack Dukes. He is survived by daughter Catherine Terry of Phoenix, Arizona; sons John Dukes, Jr of Colorado and Trey Dukes of Fort Smith; sisters Sharon Mahan of Fort Smith and Martha Dehart of Union City, Oklahoma; brothers James Dukes, Jr of Alma and Jessie Ervin Dukes of Snow Flake, Arizona; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Trey Dukes, Bobby Dehart, Jr, Tyler Varnell, Michael Dehart, Jason Edgar and Jerry Edgar.
