Mrs Daisy Fine, 83 years old, former resident of Alma, Arkansas and Fort Smith, Arkansas died Friday morning, January 26, 1968 in a local rest home. She was the widow of Zack Fine, who died in February, 1946 and a member of the Highway 71 Free Will Baptist church. She was born September 12, 1882 at Alma to John & Nannie Woods Carter.
Survivors are sisters Mrs Lela Fine of Van Buren, Arkansas and Mrs Mary McGowan of Alma; step-sons Orville Fine and Dick Fine, both of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Carroll Fine of Alma, Arkansas; step-daughter Mrs Bernice Shopfner of California; several step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews among whom are Mrs Jeta Taylor of Ozark, Arkansas.
Nephews serving as casket bearers were Lloyd McGowan, C E McGowan, J D Fine, Guy Fine and Jim Patton.
