Leeda "Granny" Walter, a resident of Wynne, Arkansas, departed this life, Wednesday, December 17, 2008 in Wynne, Arkansas, at the age of Ninety-Four. She was born March 22, 1914 in Quitman, Arkansas, the daughter of Nathaniel and Hanna (Lester) Atterberry.
Granny was a member of the Wynne Church of God, she enjoyed playing dominoes, chinese checkers, crocheting, sewing, embroidery, watching the Gaithers and spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Walter was preceded in death by her children's father: J D Walter; two brothers: Guss Atterberry, Tolley Atterbery; two sisters: Bessie Sellers and Damsel Fulton; a grandson: Dwaynne Fisher.
She is survived by two sons: Doyce and Dora Walter, Larry and Tammy Walter; two daughters: Marie and Guy Fisher, Gina Caudell; one sister: Lillian Lande.
