Husband of Myrtle King
Funeral services for Robert Lee King, 70, of Route 1, Alma, Arkansas, were conducted April 3, 1961 at the Alma Baptist Church with Rev Fitzgerald officiating. Burial was at Alma city Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.Mr King was a member of the Alma Baptist Church. He died in a local hospital March 31, 1961 after a long illness. Survivors include his wife Mary; son Jessie of Snow, Oklahoma; foster son Nathan L Wood of Alma; daughters Mrs Elsie Perkinson of Fort Smith and Mrs Helen Coonce of Kansas City, Missouri; foster daughter Mrs Margie A Chandler of Seattle, Washington; 20 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren
