April 24, 1915 - January 2, 2002
Robert L Calaway, MD, 86, of Alma, Arkansas died Wednesday, January 2, 2002, at a local nursing home. He was a retired medical doctor and held a private practice in Mulberry, Arkansas for many years. He served in the Army and coached basketball at Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jayne Branch Calaway.
Survivors include daughters, Nancy Phillips of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Camille Anderson of Batesville, Arkansas and Patricia Walden of St. Petersburg, Florida; sons, Robert Calaway, Jr of Alma, Arkansas and Paul Calaway of Denver, Colorado; 13 grandchildren & 4 great-grandsons.
