Frankie D. Tolley, 83 of Smackover passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas.
Born November 28, 1932 in Darden, Tennessee, he was the son of Andrew and Emma James Tolley. Mr. Tolley was a graduate of Lexington High School in Lexington, Tennessee and Memphis State University.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Smackover where he served as a deacon, church treasurer, worship leader, choir member, Sunday School teacher and JOY Club member.
Preceding him in death along with his parents were four brothers, Aaron Ward, Audrey Truman, Kelvy Ray and A. J. and two sisters, Faye Tolley Johnson and Emma Jean Tolley Haney.
Mr. Tolley is survived by his wife of 55 years, Imogene Tolley and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P. M. Wednesday, June 1, 2016 in Young’s Chapel with Rev. Carly Davis officiating. Private interment will follow under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at Young’s.
