When Owen Dennison Faulk was born on August 14, 1915, in Faulkner, Arkansas, his father, George, was 52 and his mother, Bennie, was 33. He married Ersie Lurie Langston on October 28, 1933, in his hometown. They had one child during their marriage. He died on August 18, 1951, in Memphis, Tennessee, at the age of 36, and was buried in Greenbrier, Arkansas.
