When James B Davis was born on May 20, 1921, in Wooster, Arkansas, his father, James, was 35 and his mother, Bertha, was 26. He had four brothers and five sisters. He died on July 14, 1962, in Greenbrier, Arkansas, at the age of 41, and was buried there.
