When Romaltus Aurelius "Malle" Clements was born on November 5, 1852, in Cedartown, Georgia, his father, Rev, was 23 and his mother, Mary, was 25. He married Margaret Evaline Langston Clements on December 22, 1875, in Bradley, Arkansas. They had nine children in 21 years. He died on August 7, 1918, in Faulkner, Arkansas, at the age of 65, and was buried in Greenbrier, Arkansas.
