When Ray Clark was born on May 2, 1908, in Arkansas, his father, Thomas, was 23 and his mother, Willie, was 26. He married Juanita Wyomia McKaskle on February 18, 1930, in Springfield, Arkansas. They had three children during their marriage. He died on December 29, 1964, in Conway, Arkansas, at the age of 56, and was buried in Greenbrier, Arkansas.
