Gary Lynn Brooner, 65, of Noel, Mo., died Nov. 5, 2016, at the Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Ark., with his loving family by his side. He was born Dec. 1, 1950, in Cabool, Mo., to Eula McDaris-Goodrum.
He married the Love of his life, Sandi Killion, on May 27, 2000, in Eureka Springs, Ark. He proudly served in the United States Army and worked for Libla Communications in Telephone construction. He really enjoyed hosting cook-outs and spending time with friends and family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Eula Goodrum; and a sister, Lana Letterman.
He is survived by his wife, Sandi Brooner of the home; two sons, Scott Powell of Noel, Mo., and Chris Powell and wife Kim of Rogers, Ark; four grandchildren, P.J. Powell, Christopher Powell, Cameron Powell, and Carter Powell; father-in-law, Paul Killion of Noel; niece, Darcee Inskeep of Branson, Mo.; aunt and uncle, Marv and Susie McDaris of South Carolina; and a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss him.
A private celebration of life with family and friends will be held at a later date.
