GRAVETTE — David Leon DeWitt, 51, of Gravette, Ark., died Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, at his home. He was born Sept. 15, 1964, in Gravette to John and Peggy (Easter) DeWitt II.
David graduated from Gravette High School and was a disabled veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. He attended Heritage Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife Esther of the home; a daughter, Brittany DeWitt of Gravette, Ark.; his mother, Peggy McLoud of Southwest City, Mo.; brothers, John DeWitt and Tim DeWitt of Gravette: a sister, Kari Moore of Rogers, Ark.; his mother-in-law, Joyce Netzley, sister-in-law, Ruth Stemen and husband, Aaron, all of Bethany, Okla.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, at Heritage Baptist Church, 307 Fourth Avenue S.E., Gravette, Ark. Pastor, Dr. Darrell Kepler will officiate. Burial will be at Butler Creek Cemetery in Sulphur Springs, Arkansas. Arrangements are entrusted to Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Arkansas.
