GRAVETTE — James Leon Forrest passed away on Dec. 2, 2018. He was born March 30, 1939, to Willie and Oma Forrest in Ava, Mo.
He was married to the late Anita Forrest. Leon loved to hunt and fish and was known to his family as PaPa. He was a devout man of God, a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Leon is survived by his two children, daughter Wendy Allen and husband Michael Allen of San Diego, Calif., daughter Kelly Martone and husband Peter Martone of Boston, Mass., stepdaughter Naldina Laxton, stepson Edward Allen and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Dec. 7 at the First Baptist Church in Gravette.
