SOUTHWEST CITY, MO. — Jacquelyn Lee "Jackie" Provence, age 68, of Southwest City, Mo., died March 11, 2014, after a long battle with emphysema. Born Aug. 10, 1945, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Warren William Schoff and Madge Marie DeBolt.

Jackie, as she was called by friends and family, was a member of the Baptist Church of Southwest City. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. She will be dearly missed by all family and friends. Prior to illness, Jackie enjoyed travel, dancing and people. In the pact few years, Jackie enjoyed attending Sunday school with some very dear ladies and shopping at "Wally World."

Survivors include three sons, one daughter and one daughter-in-law, Mike Evans of Anderson, Mo., Dennis Evans of Southwest City, Mo., Shawn Provence of Kansas City, Mo., Diane and Doris Evans of Bella Vista, Ark.; one sister, Diana Brock of Waco, Texas; and one brother, Johnny Schoff of Waco, Texas; three grandsons, Jeremy Breiner, Jesse Talley and Kline Provence; a nephew, Aaron Brock; a niece, Billie Lynn Briggs; and many great-nieces and -nephews.

Jackie was preceded in death by one child, David Evans; her mother and father; two brothers, Bob and Bill Schoff; and one nephew, Eric Brock.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today, March 13, 2014, at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2268 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m on Friday, March 14, at the Living Waters United Methodist Church, Centerton, Ark., with the Rev. Blake Lasater officiating.
