GRAMLIN, Henry Alexander - Henry Alexander Gramlin was born near Milan in North Missouri October 17, 1863. In 1872, when a child of eleven years, he came with his parents to Arkansas and with the exception of two years, Benton county had since been his home. January 31, 1886 he was united in marriage to Miss Jennie Garrett. To this union three sons were born, all of whom were at his bedside when the call came. In 1893 he was converted and joined the Christian church. In 1913 he renewed his membership in the Christian church at Avoca. He departed this life August 3, 1925 at the age of 61 years, ten months and sixteen days. Funeral services were held at Tuck's Chapel Tuesday, August 4th, conducted by Rev. A.J. Deason and Frank Easley. Interment in Tuck's Chapel cemetery. He leaves to mourn his loss a wife, three sons, four small grandchildren, one sister, one brother, and a host of friends - and his friends were numbered only by his acquaintances.

MRS. GRAMLING DIED AT PEA RIDGE LAST FRIDAY

Funeral services were held at 2:00 o’clock, Saturday afternoon at Tuck’s Chapel, south of Pea Ridge, for Mrs. Virginia Gramling, aged 65, widow of the late Alex Gramling, who died Friday afternoon at the home of her son, Walter Gramling, three miles east of Pea Ridge, following a long illness.

The rites were conducted by the Rev. H.N. Renfo of Avoca, with music by an Avoca quartet under the direction of Miss Ruth Ford.

Surviving Mrs. Gramling are three sons, Pierce, Walter and Will all of the Avoca - Pea Ridge area of Northeast Benton County, and a number of relatives.
