When Robert Martin Browning was born on September 21, 1865, in Mississippi, his father, Ernie, was 26 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 24. He married Elizabeth Victoria Sparks in 1887. They had ten children in 22 years. He died on December 27, 1942, in Faulkner, Arkansas, at the age of 77, and was buried in Greenbrier, Arkansas.
