Geneva Faye Parker, age 86, of Russellville, Arkansas died Monday May 17, 2004 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was born January 17, 1918 at Belleville, Arkansas to Henry Edward and Lelah Cooksey Kirkwood. She attended the New Blaine Church of Christ and was retired from Irish Maid Donuts of Ft Smith where she worked as a cashier.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Eugene Parker and son Joe Edward Blankenship.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Sherrlene Parker of New Blaine, Arkansas; daughter-in-law Tonona Stone of New Blaine; grandson James Edward Blankenship of Van Buren, Arkansas; granddaughter Joy Faye Carter of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 6 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Pallbearers were Richard Parker, James Blankenship, Tommy Beasley, Jr and Jimmy Moudy. Honorary pallbearers were the nurses and staff of Legacy Lodge Nursing Home and the nurses and staff of ICU at St Mary's.
