When Joy Nell Bono was born on January 11, 1934, in Greenbrier, Arkansas, her father, William, was 34, and her mother, Susan, was 26. She had six brothers and two sisters. She died on June 10, 2003, in her hometown at the age of 69, and was buried there.

Charles Edwin Bono, 82, of Greenbrier, died Friday, November 27, 2009.
He was born May 31, 1927 in Shady Grove to the late William Matthew Bono and Susie Ross Bono.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Bono; 3 sisters Syble Barnwell, Joy Bono and Sherry Scott.

He was a graduate of Greenbrier High School, retired from SAS, cattle rancher and a Christian.

He is survived by 4 brothers, Erwin F. Bono of Anniston, AL, Edward R. Bono of Evansville, IN, Zane M. Bono of Silver Lake IN and Winston Bono of Greenbrier.

Funeral services will 1:00 PM Monday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Funeral Home, Greenbrier with Rev. Larry Geraldson officiating. Burial will be Bethlehem Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Bono, Dustin Main, Terry Mack Howard, Jesse Mallett, Dois Owens, Johnny West, Paul Woodrum, Herbie Ault.
Honorary pallbearer is John Stanton
