When Floy Elizabeth Ford was born on December 16, 1908, in Wooster, Arkansas, her father, Thomas, was 36, and her mother, Minnie, was 28. She married Leon J Patton on December 29, 1928, in Conway, Arkansas. They had two children during their marriage. She died on February 1, 1992, at the age of 83, and was buried in Greenbrier, Arkansas.
