Gene Bruce Housley, 74 of Clarksville, Arkansas died Friday, August 24, 2007 at Johnson Regional Medical Center. He was born October 24, 1932 and was a native of the Prairie View community and was the son of Alfred and Annie Lee Cravens Housley. Bruce graduated from Scranton High School in 1950 and attended Arkansas Tech University and the University of Arkansas. He retired as President of Arkansas Parts Warehouse in Little Rock. He was a member of the Clarksville First united Methodist Church, the Masonic Lodge, and the Scottish Rites.

He is survived by his wife Norma Parks Housley, whom he married January 26, 1953. Other survivors are brother, Cravens Housley and wife Lora Mae of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and a host of nieces and nephews.

Norma Jean Housley, 80, of Clarksville, Arkansas died May 27, 2013. She was born May 21, 1933 in Prairie View, Arkansas, to the late Charley Parks and Floy Roper Parks. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Bruce Housley. She is survived by sister Ava Dale Snow of Prairie View; brother, Charles Don Parks of Booneville, Arkansas; nephews, Mark Snow of Prairie View, Corey Parks of Jenks, Oklahoma and Clark Snow of Springdale; nieces, Lee Ann Nolen of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Shannon Snow of Lowell and Liz Housley of Pine Bluff.
