Harold Ronald Ford the husband of Dorothy “Dottie” B (McLean) Ford. Harold Ronald Ford son of Jesse Harold Ford and Elsie (Bebee) Ford. Harold was raised by his grandparents, Bessie Bebee and Richard Henry Bebee.

Harold Ronald Ford departed this life on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 3:30 a.m. He was a resident of Emory, TX, and a member of Believers Baptist Church of Emory. He was born on October 1, 1933 in St. Louis, OK, the son of Elsie Bebee Ford and Jesse Harold Ford. During his younger years Harold was raised by his grandparents, Bessie Bebee and Richard Henry Bebee, in the Shawnee, Oklahoma area.
Harold’s professional life included a tour of duty in the United States Army where he was assigned to the department of defense. He was sales manager of several new car dealerships in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. He also was sales manager for a mobile home dealership in Missouri. Mr. Ford also had a successful Classic Shetland Pony business in Emory, Texas for fifteen years and shipped ponies as far away as Hawaii and Germany.
Mr. Ford is survived by his wife of 22 years, Dorothy B. “Dottie” Ford, one daughter Cynthia Ann Comeaux of Rice, TX, one granddaughter Amanda Bodkins and husband Justin and a great-grandson Cason Bodkins of Milford, TX. He is also survived by two daughters by marriage, Fayna Bear of Ft. Worth, TX and Melanie Bear Mueller and husband John of Rockwall, TX. Three grandsons by marriage, William Taylor of Rockwall, TX, Brandon Cabral and Nick Bear and wife Alisha and a granddaughter by marriage MiMi Chacon all of Ft. Worth, TX, as well as a host of extended family and acquaintances.
Mr. Ford was preceded in death by his son John Richard Ford and a daughter by marriage, Jodie Leigh Bear, one sister, Susie Madic as well as his parents and grandparents.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Rolen officiating.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 9, 2015 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will be at Hopewell Cemetery at Cord, AR, in his wife’s family plot.
