KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Alta Mae Carlew, 84, of Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Cord, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2003, at Kansas City.
Born March 16, 1919, at Cord, she was the daughter of Frank and Ethel Keller Carlew. She was of the Methodist faith and had been employed by the Bendix Factory of Kansas City.
Survivors include two brothers, Herschel Carlew of Independence, Mo., and J.D. Carlew of Kansas City, Kan.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Hopewell Cemetery at Cord. Arrangements are by Jackson's Newark Funeral Home.
