Beulah "Bea" Elizabeth Forgey Houk died in the early morning on October 1, 2015, at Life Care Center of Sandpoint, Idaho. Born in 1914 in Benton County, Arkansas, she celebrated her 101st birthday on September 16.

Her parents, Charles Augustus and Nancy Adeline Mills, were lifetime residents of Benton County. She married Gene Forgey in 1934 and when they later divorced, Beulah moved to Seattle, Washington, in 1963. In 1969, she married Frank Houk, who passed away in 1983. She remained in Washington State until 2010 when she moved to Idaho to live with her daughter, Vicki.

Beulah is survived by three of her four children: Bill Forgey of Garfield, Ark., Linda Follett of Coffeyville, Kan., and Vicki Johnson of Sandpoint, Idaho. Her eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren live in Arizona, Washington, Florida and Tennessee. She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters and her son, Bob Forgey, who passed away in Alaska in 2014.

She accepted Jesus as her Savior as a young girl and she "fought the fight, finished her course and kept the faith."

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2015, in Ruddick Cemetery, Garfield, Ark., under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
