Marjorie Adele Glover Rimmer, age 93, of Guy, Arkansas, went to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, December 08, 2018. Born February 15, 1925, in Guy, to the late Carroll, Sr. and Elva Battles Glover, she was a pillar of the Guy community and long time and faithful member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star where she served as Worthy Matron of the Damascus Chapter and Grand Lecturer of the Grand Chapter of Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 51 years, Eulon “Boots” Rimmer; five brothers, Carroll, Jr., Truman, Chuck, Joe, and Max Glover; two sisters, Virginia Pratt and Pollyanna Presley; son-in law, Gary Burrows; and great grandson, Samuel Burrows.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in law, Johnny and Sharon Rimmer; daughters, Reita Rimmer and Donna Burrows; grandsons, Gary (Stacy) Rimmer, Shane (Sarah) Burrows, Kyle (Tina) Rimmer, and Marc (Leslie) Burrows; granddaughter, Kimberly Wilson; great grandchildren, Desiree (Chris) Wait, Dallas Linker, Austin Rimmer, Tyler Linker, Brandon Thorn, Bradley Thorn, Payton Burrows, Dylan Aldridge, Alayna Rimmer, Jaylin Wilson, Tatum Burrows, Grey Burrows, Spencer Burrows, and Addie Burrows; sisters-in-law, Dorotha Glover, Franz Horton, and Janice Cooley; and countless family and friends.

Commonly referred to as Ma, her wisdom and kindness were bestowed upon many. Ma loved fiercely, forgave unconditionally, served faithfully, and gave generously. Her strength was unshakeable and faith was unwavering. A shining example of the Proverbs 31 woman, she was the matriarch of the family. Ma found great joy in gardening, quilting, and cooking for her family. Her love of gardening, cooking, and family intersected in the summer as she prepared Sunday dinners for her family with the vegetables from her garden. She made quilts for all of her great grandchildren to cherish, even finishing the last one the week prior to her passing. Her biscuits, rolls, and hot jelly were unrivaled and favorites among her grandchildren. She was the greatest supporter of her family, cheering for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren at baseball, basketball, and softball games; school and musical performances; and life in general.

Her grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pall bearers.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 12, 2018, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and the funeral service will be Thursday, December 13, 2018, at 2:00 pm. Both will be held at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Guy.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” Well done.
