Thomas Eli Reeves, age 81, of Damascus went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday February 28, 2016. He was born January 14, 1935 in Buckhold, Oklahoma to the late Henry Duncan Reeves and Flora May Smith.
Tom was a retired maintenance supervisor with UCA, he loved working with his hands, he and Elizabeth built three homes from the ground up.
Tom loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren taking them Mountain climbing, fishing, swimming and teaching them about life.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
Preceded in death by his son Robert Sherrill, daughter Tambra Reeves, son in-law Dan Stanley, brother Jack Reeves and sisters Juanita Sankey and Mary Ann Raines.
Survivors include his loving wife Elizabeth; sons, Michael (Lynn) Woodham of Wooster, Thomas Reeves II of Malvern, Paul Reeves of Greenbrier, Russell and Ronald Reeves of California; daughters, Becky Long of Morrilton, Glenda (David) Sherrill of North Little Rock, Donna (Scotty) Parsons of Damascus, Elizabeth (Leo) Gatton of Damascus, Nancy (Randy) Smith of Shady Grove and Terry Reeves of California; 31 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren; brothers, Eugene, Wilburn and Walter Reeves; Sisters Bessie Ronat, Loretta Haney, Edna Rader and Flora Raab; along with a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday March 2 at Bishop-Crites Funeral Home Greenbrier, Arkansas.
Funeral Service will be held 2p.m. Thursday March 3, 2016, at Funeral Home, with Bro. Will Carr and Bro. Kenny Long officiating.
Burial will follow in Republican Cemetery Greenbrier, Arkansas.
