Alice Rose "Granny Doodle" Canada, 87, of Paris, Arkansas, died Monday, March 24, 2008, in Paris.
She was born June 16, 1928 to John B and Josie Burnett Case in St Louis Valley, Arkansas, where she was raised. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arvel F Canada, brothers, Lester Chester and Harlan Case, sister Settie Miller, children Donald Canada and Sandy Link and grandchildren Allison Link, Joshua Canada and Cody Wiley.
She is survived bydaughters Phyllis Turner of Paris,Arkansas; Debbie Kinney of Ozark,Arkansas and Darla Dorrough of Dardanelle, Arkansas; sons Jake and Clinton Canada of Paris; sister Violet Miller of Dardanelle; 21 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a large host of extended family and friends.
Active Pallbearers were nephews Larry Glen, Steve, Ricky and Gary Miller, and Dana and Donny Case. Honorary Pallbearers were grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
