Jack Leroy Anthony, 74, of Greenbrier, Arkansas died June 21, 2012. He was born Jan. 24, 1938, in Allred, Texas, to Charles Cecil Anthony and Leona Jordan Anthony. Mr Anthony served his county in the United States Navy and Air Force. He was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of Calvary Temple in Conway.He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruby Dove Anthony; son, Jackie Anthony; grandson, Brian Bradley; and an infant grandson. Survivors include sons, David Edwards of Damascus,Arkansas ; Mitchell Anthony of Oklahoma City, and Charles and Betty Anthony of Anchorage, Alaska; daughters, Cathy and Marshall Richards of White Deer, Texas, Karen and Monte Munyan of Greenbrier, and Ursula Bradley Anthony of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; children of the heart, Theresa Garcia of Panhandle, Texas, and Robin Herron of Fairbanks, Alaska. Other survivors include sisters, Tomma Walls of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Charlene Martin, Lawanna Guthrie, Terry Thorn, and Denise Blount, all of Oklahoma City; 21 Grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Pallbearers were Jason Edwards, Joseph Edwards, James R. Jones, Monte Munyan, David Edwards and Jack Richards.
Ruby Dove Anthony, 67, of Greenbrier died Saturday. She was born April 30, 1941 in Paris, Arkansas to Jerry Claude Dove and Martha Case Dove. She is survived by her husband, Jack Anthony of Greenbrier, Arkansas ; children, Cathy Rich and Marshall Richards of Greenbrier, Karen and Monte Munyan, also of Greenbrier, Ursela Anthony of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, David Edwards of Damascus,Arkansas; Mitchell Anthony of Oklahoma City, Charles Anthony of Anchorage, Alaska, Robin Dale Herron of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Theresa Gonzalez of Borger, Texas; brothers, Ralph Dove of Jacksonville,Arkansas and Billy Dove of Little Rock; sisters, Ola Sims of Scott,Arkansas; Ocie Wilhite of Little Rock, Mary Fiser of Little Rock and Bessie Sartin of Rose Bud; 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Claude Dove and mother Martha Belle Case; brothers, Grady, Jessie, Wayne, Charlie and Ray Dove; sisters, Alice and Hazel Dove, and Gertie Henderson. She was also preceded in death by son Jack Anthony; and grandson Tyler Anthony.
