Raymond Riley Turner, 78, of Paris, Arkansas, died Saturday, November 21, 2009 in Ft Smith, Arkansas. He was born March 5, 1931 to Joseph Jackson Turner and Florence Ester Whitecotton.
He was an oil field and construction worker. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Loyal, Selvin & Stanley Turner; sisters Catherine Turner, Mary Jones, Ruby Dale Butler and Ruth Storts.He is survived by his wife, Patsy L Johnson Turner of 53 years; sons Jackie Ray and Curtis G Turner of Paris, Arkansas; daughter, Deborah Ann Gentry of Rudy, Arkansas; sister, Pauline Newman of Ft Smith, Arkansas; brothers, Sammy Glen Turner of Midway, Arkansas and Elton Turner of Paris, Arkansas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were John Eugene Johnson, Tommy Case, Jeff Turner, Brandon Newman, Larry Turner and Scotty Storts.
Patsy Turner, 80 of Paris, Arkansas passed away Friday, September 29, 2017 in Paris. She was born on August 30, 1937 in Paris to Curtis Matthew and Hattie Mae Fitzjurls Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Paris. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Raymond Turner. She is survived by daughter, Deborah Turner of Van Buren; sons, Jackie Turner of Paris and Curtis Tuner and wife Michelle of Paris; sister, Mary Morris and husband Doug of Paris; brothers, Johnny Johnson and wife Jean of Hackett and Butch Johnson and wife Kay of Paris; grandchildren, Kendra Butler and husband Jared of Severance, Colorado, Jamie Jones of Aurora, Colorado, Brandy Reed and husband Donald of Siloam Springs, David Keathley and wife Ashley of Carlisle and Denise Keathley of Carlisle and great-grandchildren, Kassidy Butler and Jay Butler of Severance, Colorado, Kalen Seftner, Tyler Seftner and Cameron Seftner of Siloam Springs and Breyson Keathley of Carlisle.
