Sammy Bowman, who resided in Midway, Arkansas, passed away Friday, May 11, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith. He was born January 25, 1947 in Midway, Arkansas to Arthur and Althia Rhinehart Bowman. He was 65 years old. Sammy retired from Cloyes Gear Company, served in the National Guard, and was a member of First Assembly of God in Paris. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Beck Bowman; son, Shancey Bowman of Midway; brother, Billy Joe Bowman of Paris, and granddaughter, Bethany Bowman.
Pallbearers will be Shancey Bowman, Larry Parsons, Harold Davidson, Jim Beck, Tyler Beck, Ian Cargil and Bob Jasper.
