Mr Silas H Cothran, of Paris, Arkansas died Thursday, August 14, 2008. He was the son of Emmett V and Mary M Shirley Cothran. Mr Cothran was a retired oilfield worker and truck/school bus driver. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, in Paris, Arkansas.
Mr Cothran was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Cathrine Shelton Cothran; brother: Tommy Cothran; and grandson Donald Underwood.
He is survived by his second wife: Esther Redding Cothran; daughters: Mary Sue Underwood, and Glenda Dobson; sons: Ronnie Cothran and Lonnie Cothran; sisters: Helen Belcher, Judy Kay Dial, Sue Stanberry, Minnie Freeman, and Virgie Crumb; brothers: Doyle Cothran, Randy Cothran, and Mike Cothran; 9 wonderful grandchildren; and 9 precious great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: Jason Cothran, Adam Cothran, Clifford Underwood, DeWayne Underwood, Shane Cotton, Don Reed, Eric Street, and Daren Davison. Honorary pallbearers were his grandchildren
